Short-time work

In this workshop, we been asked to choose some materials to briefly make a work. It could be improve our ability of grouping and idea expression. Which means, in a short-time progress, the technic might not be developed, the important thing is using exist elements to create a simple work but it can express some ideas.

Materials choose

At first, I tried to find some new materials which can painting with interesting style. Then I found cotton, which female use to make-up. (//^-^//). It has really good quality at save water, so watercolour can have a fluency separating, as well as Chinese ink and colour pencil.

Got idea

After finish some painting, I saw there are look like the Earth, in addition, the separating of colours, let me associated with the growth of population in our planet. And the mixed colours could be seen as the mixed culture when civilisation exclude.

I like to read science fiction, and I inspired by Galactic Empire / The three body problem / 2001 Space odyssey, I thought human being will exclude infinitively, as well as population. But we can see, there are many problem on population in global wide, such as growth uncontrollably / unbalanced, or negative growth. So I’m going to explore these problem, and the reason / factor which affect these phenomenon.

I used Javascript to create repeat circle, and Anime.js to set the transform.
