In western clutre, female could be seen in main stream art.

At first, people be seen as their own concpet. Then, some women in painting, could be seen as stranger of some one familiar with. The sight of viewer changed.

A women’s spectator could be a real man, especially male, but the spectator of a men, could be world or environment. To paint a man, his power or concious could be the main point, but as a women, that could be pysical beauty even sexual in some classcical painting.
